In the ocean of clouds,
There they are to be found,
Present reminders of a time long passed,
Awakening wonder, breathtaking,
Memorials made of stories and stone,
Around them, one is never alone.
In their attempt to touch the sky,
Their desire for growth is ever present.
Refuge of silence for those tired of noise,
In the quietness they provide, you hear your inner voice,
What you do with what you hear, that is your choice.
Giving home to many, animals and humans alike,
They are rocky bastions of life.
Hiding in the trees and grass, inviting you to stay awhile,
Resting here, melting with the silent giants,
The time we spend among them shall be our peaceful exile.
